Posted on Mike HVerified Desert dreams! We actually booked a four day tour through Beldi Camp from Fez looping round to Marrakech, with two nights in their camp in Erg Chebbi (tip: definitely try to stay for two nights vs. just one - it's worth it and you'll need it). Our driver for the tour, Hamid, was excellent! He coordinated pick up with us from our riad in Fez in advance and made everything feel easy and seamless. He was super friendly, spoke great English and was really knowledgeable about the places we went through. We loved the camp! It walks the tightrope of having the luxuries of the city while still feeling 'simple' and making you feel out in the middle of the desert. Its location is great - a little further out than most of the camps, which gives it a that extra feeling of solitude (especially for sunrise / sunset photos). The rooms are really nice - the bathroom was better here than in our riad in Fez(!), with a running shower and decent water pressure too! Ali and the team are lovely. They are super friendly and patient with all the guests (who seem to be from all nations and ages, which is cool) - Ali, in particular, was a joy to talk to. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious - and different every night. And the activities the team sorted were great. We had a guide (Said) for the day, who was GREAT. Really enjoyed his company. He took us to a nomad camp and toured around the area. We also did quad biking in the dunes (tip: a MUST) and a camel ride back to the camp in the evening (that ends up being with a lot of people from other camps, but that's just the way Erg Chebbi seems to work). Overall, it couldn't have been a nicer experience. 5 stars!Posted on Explore24715250188Verified Ein wundervolles Erlebnis! Great Experience We booked a 4-day private Sahara Desert tour, staying at the stunning Beldi Camp for 2 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our driver and guide, Idir, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment every step of the way. The itinerary was well thought out, featuring exciting activities like sunset camel rides (though the ride felt a bit lengthy), ATV rides across the dunes, and sandboarding. The luxury camp exceeded our expectations with its cozy, clean accommodations and good bathroom facilities. The food was great, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, it was an incredible adventure, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a desert adventure!Posted on Wanderer32360628850Verified Sahara Experience… The best We really enjoyed time spent at the Beldi Camp in Merzouga - Sahara Desert. We spent 2 nights and we made lots of activities but I think to stay a day more could be better. We visited some many places from Marrakesh to Merzouga Desert crossing the High Atlas, visited some foreign people communities, a nomad family and an African community as well. The best plan was to ride quad bikes and camels at the sunset. The staff is really welcome, open and kind. The food is delicious and they offer very good portions for the meals. The tent is so comfortable and cozy. Nice spot to take amazing pictures and astonishing views of Merzouga Desert. It has a very good Location, far from other camps so it is really quiet and calm.
