Start in Agadir and drive to Taroudant, known as “Little Marrakesh.” Explore the medina, souks, and ancient city walls, and see local crafts like leather and jewelry. Overnight in a hotel or riad with traditional Moroccan hospitality.
On Day 2, leave Taroudant and drive to Ouarzazate, passing the scenic Tizi n’Test Pass with Atlas Mountain views. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site featured in films. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, travel through the Draa Valley to Zagora, passing palm groves, Berber villages, and mountains. Explore the town, famous for its ancient kasbahs and Sahara access. Overnight in a guesthouse or riad.
On Day 4, your adventure continues as you drive towards the vast Merzouga Desert. As you journey through the southern Moroccan landscape, you’ll pass through more palm groves and nomadic settlements. Upon arrival in Merzouga, enjoy your camel trek to Beldi Camp, where you will spend the night in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars and experience the peace and serenity of the desert.
Spend the day exploring the desert, with a guided camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Visit nomadic Berber villages and learn about their traditional way of life in the desert. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of the desert by taking a break in the vast dunes or engaging in cultural activities like Gnaoua music performances. Return to Beldi Camp for your second night in the desert.
On the final day, after a beautiful desert sunrise, you’ll begin your journey back towards Agadir. Travel through the scenic Draa Valley and the Atlas Mountains, stopping to visit historical towns and enjoy panoramic views along the way. Upon arriving in Agadir, your 6 days Agadir Desert Tour concludes, with the option to be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
