Our Story: From Desert Nomads to Your Hosts at Beldi Camp

The Heart of Beldi Beldi Camp isn’t just a business; it is our home. Founded by brothers Achraf and Mohamed Oujil, who were born and raised in a small village on the edge of the Sahara, our camp is a tribute to the Berber (Amazigh) way of life. After 20 years of guiding travelers through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, we decided to create a space where luxury meets the soul of the desert.

We believe that the best way to experience Morocco is through the eyes of those who live here. Our “Beldi” style—meaning traditional, local, and handmade—is woven into every part of your stay.

Eco-Friendly Luxury: We respect the land that sustains us. Our camp is powered by the Moroccan sun, utilizing solar energy for electricity and hot water, and we source our water from local wells to minimize our footprint.

Farm-to-Table Dining: We take pride in our “Gourmet Countryside” cuisine. Most of our food is grown on our family farm near the camp, ensuring that every Tagine and Moroccan pancake you taste is fresh, organic, and full of flavor.
