Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga

Your 6 Days Tour From Fes To Marrakech begins with an early departure from Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture and cool mountain setting.

Continue towards the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques. The road then leads to Midelt and through the beautiful Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and dramatic landscapes.

In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where you will begin your camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset from the dunes before reaching your desert camp for dinner, music and an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Khamlia – Nomads – Merzouga

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara before breakfast.

Today is dedicated to discovering the Merzouga region. Visit the traditional town of Rissani and explore its local market if it is open. Continue to Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music and cultural heritage.

You will also have the opportunity to visit nomadic families and discover how people have traditionally lived in this remote desert region.

Return to Merzouga in the afternoon. Enjoy some free time to relax around your accommodation and admire the changing colours of the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

After breakfast, leave the desert and travel through the landscapes of southeastern Morocco.

Pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils and dates, before continuing towards Tinghir. From here, enter the impressive Todra Gorge, where high limestone cliffs rise dramatically on both sides of the valley.

Take a walk through the gorge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before continuing towards the Dades Valley. The road offers beautiful views of palm groves, villages and traditional kasbahs.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, continue along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Drive through the Valley of Roses and the palm oasis of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s best-known fortified villages. Walk through its narrow passages and explore the traditional earthen architecture.

Overnight: Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Tizi n’Tichka – Marrakech

After breakfast, leave Ait Ben Haddou and begin the journey towards Marrakech.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, reaching around 2,260 metres above sea level. Along the way, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and stop for photographs.

Continue through the mountain villages and valleys before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening.

Day 6: Marrakech – Departure

Enjoy your final morning in Marrakech. Depending on your departure time, you can explore part of the Red City, visit the souks or relax before your transfer.
