Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge

Your journey begins in Marrakech, where you will drive through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic views of valleys, peaks, and Berber villages. The first stop is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning mud-brick architecture. After exploring the kasbah, continue your drive to Dades Gorge, a beautiful natural landscape with towering cliffs. After arrival, check into a hotel or riad and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Beldi Desert Camp

After breakfast, head towards the Todra Gorges, where you can take a walk along the riverbed, surrounded by towering cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, passing through Berber villages and desert landscapes. Once you reach Merzouga, head to Beldi Desert Camp, a luxury desert camp on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. After settling in, embark on a camel trek across the dunes to witness the breathtaking sunset. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and Berber music under the stars. Spend the night in your luxury tent at the desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Exploration – Khamlia Village – Sunset Camel Trek

Start the day with an optional sunrise camel ride to experience the desert in the early morning light. After breakfast, take a 4×4 tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes, visiting Khamlia Village, where you’ll be treated to a Gnawa music performance. Learn about the village’s unique culture and its connection to the desert. After lunch at the camp, spend the afternoon at leisure or try sandboarding in the dunes. In the evening, take a camel trek to enjoy another sunset over the dunes, and return to the camp for a second night of Berber music and a traditional dinner.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes. Continue your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, enjoying scenic views of the lush forests and valleys. Arrive in Fes in the evening and check into your hotel or riad. Spend the night in Fes and rest after your desert adventure.

Day 5: Fes

On Day 5, take a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most historical and cultural cities. Explore the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with landmarks such as the Bou Inania MadrasaAl Karaouine University, and the Royal Palace. You will also visit the famous Chouara Tannery and the Tanneries to see traditional leather-making techniques. After your tour, you’ll have some free time to explore the souks and markets of Fes before enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 6: Fes – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco. This picturesque town is nestled in the Rif Mountains, known for its striking blue-painted buildings, charming alleyways, and relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour through the narrow streets, visit the Kasbah, and admire the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After your tour, enjoy some free time to explore or shop for souvenirs. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 7: Chefchaouen – Back to Marrakech via Rabat

On the final day of your journey, you will leave Chefchaouen in the morning and head towards Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains as you make your way to Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower, a beautiful minaret of an unfinished mosque, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where Morocco’s royal family is buried. Stroll through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a charming fortress with beautiful blue-and-white buildings and a great view over the Atlantic Ocean. After your tour, continue your drive to Marrakech, passing through scenic countryside and villages along the way. You will arrive in Marrakech in the evening, marking the end of your memorable 7-day journey through Morocco.
