Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Errachidia in the morning and you will start the drive to Merzouga. Along the way, you will stop at the town of Erfoud, famous for its fossil and mineral shops. You will also visit the nearby town of Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty that has reigned over Morocco since the 17th century. You will have lunch in Rissani before continuing to Merzouga. Upon your arrival, you will take a camel ride in the Sahara desert and spend the night in our Beldi luxury camp in a pleasant atmosphere of Moroccan hospitality. enjoy delicious dinner and have fun with Berber music around the campfire. you observe the starry desert sky. sleep in our comfortable tent.
Today you will spend the day exploring the stunning Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which are the largest in Morocco. You will have the opportunity to hike in the dunes, ride a camel and explore nearby oases and nomadic settlements. You will also have the chance to witness a breathtaking sunrise and sunset over the dunes. You’ll return to your Beldi luxury camp in the evening for another night of Moroccan cuisine, music, and stargazing.
After breakfast, you will leave Merzouga and drive to Tineghir, a town located in the beautiful Todgha Valley. You will visit Todgha Gorge, a narrow canyon with towering cliffs that is popular with hikers and climbers. You will have lunch in a restaurant before continuing to Errachidia, where your tour will end.
